I would NOT be OK with your skin turning PURPLE! That is a sign of necrotizing cellulitis.

You need to get a consult with an ID doc and find out why the FUQ you are not responding to antibiotics.

Purple can indicate death (hence necrotiizing) of the tissue.

Have they done a culture and sensitivity on you to determine the specific bacteria and what antibiotics it will be susceptible to?


Damn dude, Not cool and I worry that you are not showing significant improvement at this point. Hope they are on the right track.
