I really hope Tim and his family are ok. I personally know Tim. We have gotten drunk on rhum, partied at my house and gone on Corvette cruises. Plan on visiting him on our way to Vietnam next year. May God bless him.

I just got a call from a guy in Manilla, Phillipines....he said his mom lived in that area, and that he hasnt heard from her since the storm hit...buy that its not uncommon to go weeks without any word....after a storm, due to all lines of communication being down, and repair crews unable to get in.

Last I read the sea is too rough to get to the island without putting first responders at risk. The typhoon is now in the Gulf of Tonkin @ 1200 miles northwest of Bantayan Island. Hope they can get in there soon

Prayers for Tim, his family, and anyone else affected in the Philippines...I have a friend over there now finalizing the paperwork for him to bring his wife home. I have been very worried about everyone over there because I know there are not many brick and mortar structures for everyone to duck away in during weather like this.
