The Walmart here was just another typical day today. Quite a few people but no abnormal shopping. Guess they have not been watching the MSM and do not know that they are supposed to be in panic mode.

Went to BJ warehouse. They’ve been out of TP since Thursday. Water 2 limit. No fresh chicken. Minimal beef/ pork. Freezers decimated

Got beer, lunch meat, wine, cigs and other stuff No English muffins

Check out lady said was a mad house till 3 pm. We missed it. Did see a guy walking with 100 hot dogs

Talked to my son. They are selling TP on Facebook marketplace

Niece got back, put her shit in car. She went to work to get monitor and PS to work at home as her office is closed till Mar 31st. Since she was in Boston she has to get screened Monday by her company. She was hungover on flight but choked it down in order to get home

We live in a shit splat town. The local grocery store had their shelves stocked with the regular stuff. Business as usual. Don't know about TP as I didn't go down that aisle.

We have tons of store brand Mucinex pills and day/night sever flu liquid medicine in case we get it (we're gonna get it since the Mrs. is an MD and this town has no hospital and no ER). Also have enough canned and dry food to last 1 month in case we end up in a quarantine situation. I'm not buying any prepared food for now. Food service workers, unfortunately because they are generally low paid are probably some of the more likely ones to go to work sick because they cannot afford to take time off.

With the exception of the usual cleaning products all the stores I went to today had plenty of regular foods available.

Went to Whole Foods, Aldi, Fresh Market and the local restaurant supply store to stock up for the quarantine.

I spent about a grand this week and the stuff only filled one small counter in my kitchen.
