If you think I am "butthurt" over "sixer" comments, you just can't read. Although there are dozens of other examples to demonstrate that you just can't read, so it is just more paper for the file. Speaking of driving an EV in winter conditions. The results are as most of us expect. Fully charged to 2% = 158 miles. Then it takes 30+ minutes to charge back to 80% at a Tesla supercharger with the car fully warmed up. So you're basically able to drive 1.0-1.5 hrs, charge 30 minutes on a road trip.

Yeah, because soooo many people go on road trips in those conditions..
The average person drives 40 miles per day, so, 158 miles of range is enough for about 4 days of daily driving for most and charging happens while you sleep. Unless you are on a road trip, 158 miles for a day of driving is plenty. I wouldn't go on a road trip in those conditions if you paid me to.. I'd fly..

You are so f**king full of shit.

Fully charged = bad
Empty = bad

So take your 158 miles and cut both ends for "average" people. Nobody with more than 2 functioning brain cells (which I acknowledge is a stretch for some) is going to take off in the morning on a freezing cold day on their 40 mile trip with 40 miles of range, so take off another day. You also forgot about that little problem of losing charge just by sitting there.

So no, it's not "enough for about 4 days of daily driving".
