Replacing Rear Hatch Struts - 2008 Coupe
I bought 2 new rear hatch struts from GM. They are black with no attachments.
The ones on my hatch that need replacing have: A metal clip that snaps onto a metal ring that's around the strut, near the top and one near the bottom. I do not see how to take them off and put on the new struts. Also, on the bottom of the struts, is a black rubber cover. I don't see how I can take it off and put on the new strut. Thank you.... |

Take a knife or small screwdriver and pry the clip out gently.
