Default [MovieNews] The lights go green for ENDER'S GAME...
Summit Entertainment has announced March 15th 2013 as the release date for the long-in-development adaptation of Orson Scott Card's seminal sci-fi novel Ender's Game.

Directing will be Gavin Hood (Tsotsi, X-Men Origins: Wolverine), from a script originally penned by source author Orson Scott Card and polished by industry wunderkinds Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Star Trek '09, Transformers series, Fringe, Hawaii 5-0) who are also producing.

Having that Wolverine credit on Hood's resume won't endear him to the fans. For those who didn't see Wolverine, imagine a turd in a Snickers wrapper.

Having Kurtzman and Orci on board with influence over content should balance that out a bit...

I was one of the people who saw the movie before they read the book, so it took some real convincing from my friends to get me to read the book.

I was irritated with the movie before I read the book, afterwards I was straight up irate.

If they do the same to Ender's Game I will find Hood's home and burn it to the ground. Then I'll piss on the ashes.
