A Pillar Question
Do all year and model C5's share the same drivers side A Pillar trim? If not, what years are the same for a 00 coupe?
Thanks!

I seem to recall 2004 as being slightly different, but 97-03 will all be the same.

Y2 is right. There was a slight diffrence in the shape of the 04 pillar covers.

On a side note: How does one remove said trim piece? Does it just pry off and if so start from the bottom, top, middle??
Thanks!

Grab it with both hands and pull it,try to pull it at an angle towards the center of the car.
Are you replacing it with a new one? Do I smell coming soon? Last edited by Garb55; 08-20-2010 at 7:36pm. |

It's on backorder! Which is OK because it gives me time to get everything together for one big install.

I found that gauge, got all excited, wrote to Trick performance and they tell me "We don't make that anymore". Bastages.

He says one big install now, but wait til he starts installing and wiring that sucker. he don't know how big an install it's going to be!
The wiring is the worst pat of it. Running the lines, looming everything up, hiding everything just so....... I've got about 36 hours wrapped up in mine, and it was a pretty basic install. But dam was it worth it! Where you mounting your bottle Munchers? If you have the changer in the large storage bin, you can rule that spot out. Unless you move your changer to another location.

Roberts Nitrous Service has a great write up on installing my kit on a C5 and he mostly deals with the wiring so I got a good idea what lies ahead. I'm already drawing a plan to fab a plate for all my relays and grounding etc.
I don't have a changer, just an ipod adapter in there so it's pretty much empty. I have been planning all along to hide it in the center compartment but the more I get in to it the more I want to paint the bottles and have them out where you can see em. I'll have to wait till they get here and then play around with them. (that's right, I said Bottles)
