It took 2 years for the Z06's to tank after their availability, and the ZR1's will force them down a bit, but not completely. Z06 being NA won't ever go away. Regardless, I'm keeping the car forever, so it's irrelevant. ZR1 with forced induction is not what I want.

Absolutely this. I started a thread at the other place two years ago that got over 200 replies before the mods locked it for getting political that basically said you'd have to be an idiot to pay MSRP or over sticker for a C8 when history will just repeat itself. Some of the funniest replies were the ones that said Corvette's were never $8000 off sticker

Except for the yellow 1LZ, my car is $55k more than the next highest priced one. Most of these were ordered for stock and configured by the dealership. Maybe they think the economy is too soft and want cheaper cars?

Dealers don't do this, GM does this automatically as part of the software. That's why some on CF have been fooled that a Z06 is on the lot and is for sale at MSRP. Having said that, nearly every other one on the lot is available, but I believe they are all over MSRP now, including the Stingrays.
