OK, I'll be the one to say it: Led Zeppelin.

Yeah, they had some good songs, some of which they blatantly stole from other artists, and I did generally enjoy their albums in the late '70s. But for the love of GOD, they are so overplayed!

Then I hear slurpers on the radio saying they are the "best rock 'n' roll band in history", and I feel like puking. ****ing Grand Funk Railroad (among at least a dozen other bands of that era) could out-rock those assholes practically in their sleep, and they get damn near zero air time!

I get it that shit loads of boomers took their first acid trip listening to Led Zeppelin, but they probably matured at least a little in the last 40 years, and should realize by now that it is decades past the time to let go of that nostalgia band!

I took a friend to see Mama Mia, her friend was performing in it, and I bought the greatest hits just to get ready for the show. I admit not being a fan back in the day, but I enjoyed that CD quite a bit, and it's a fun show. I think they made a movie version.

And of course, we can't forget they were the favorite band of our favorite, now deceased, backwoods country lawyer, Larry Spencer. RIP.
