My grandparents had somewhere to flee. Your grandkids, great grandkids? At some point, they will have no place to flee to. This is the world we are leaving for them, and I don't really see that it can be stopped, just, at best, slowed. Trump is merely slowing down the inevitable for 4 years.

You're going to have to accept an imperfect vessel. Trump was the only one pointing out our country was being flooded with illegals, and that Balkanization wasn't actually our strength. He was the only one that correctly pointed out that China is our actual threat, that their Belt and Road program was one of world domination. Trump is the only one who talked about bringing back industry both from a jobs perspective, and from a national security perspective. Shit, even Brandon gave lip service to that one. Purportedly the porkulous borrowing bill that was passed had some computer chip factories that were going to be built? Haven't seen any actually built, but even your side agreed that we needed to be making our own computer chips. Trump's the only one who talked about ending wars and not starting new ones, then actually did just that.

I didn't vote for a new pastor at the church, I voted for a guy who was going to enact policies that make my life better, and make America better and stronger. Shit, if Brandon was prosecuting the same policies as Trump was, and no one else was willing to do the same, I'd vote for Brandon. Hate his selling out his office for profit, hate that he showered inappropriately with his daughter, hate that he fingered Tara Reade, hate that he plagiarized, hate that he lied about so many things, hate that he mishandled classified docs he wasn't entitled to bring home, etc., but if he's keeping illegals out, staying out of wars, focusing on returning manufacturing to the US, etc., I'd overlook ALL of that just to get the otherwise America first policies.
