It was repaired this week and (so Carowinds' management says) that they will run it 500 time before it's reopened to the public.

True, because they didn't find out about the crack until a guest took that video and showed it to them!
Truth, the quest showed video to 3-4 park employees who shrugged it off, then they went to a local on site fireman and the news crew to get attention and have ride closed
