How do people allow themselves to become annoyed on a forum, though? If someone annoys you (general you, not personal you) just move on.

You're at a party and having a discussion with three other adults and suddenly two screaming kids come in and are running around between you and listening to your conversation and repeating what you say or commenting when they have no concept of the conversation and don't belong to any of the adults talking.

Would it annoy you?

Why do I have an expectation on me, to ignore them butting in, but there is no expectation to keep their meaningless noise to themselves?

I think that's different. In the party scenario, you'll passively hear the BS. On a forum, you still have to make the effort to read the annoying posts.
