What possibly cause this brand new z06 to crash? Video
The car is going in a perfectly straight line with traction and suddenly pulls to the right and end up in a tree. Im wondering what did the driver do?

Well as I could get no sound off the video I will GUESS that he shifted and the serious amount of torque overcome the nannies/ or he had the nannies turned off!. He was not prepared for that event and lost it..Stuff like this is common for people that turn off the nannies or do not know what to do if they overdrive the nannies, they CRASH!
I had a 07ZO6 and you could easily override the on safety shit for a period by a good hard stomp of the pedal. As I'm now 72 I grew up in the skinny tire, no nannie muscle car era of the mid 60s and we were prepared. Fishtailing off the line or hard hitting it and having a power pull like the video showed were common but we were expecting things like that to happen and MOST times we could out drive the bad situation. |

After seeing that video and the responses here I will keep my new z06 in eco mode for at least a year after getting it.
