Morning everyone. Been in Texas for the past few days with the wife. She came here to KC and I surprised her and flew home with her Sunday to spend Valentine’s Day with her. I also had some stuff to take care of in San Antonio. Sure wish I could have stayed there with her.

got roofers here today.

day 1 of several, today is haul the gravel off the roof day, about 2000 sf of roof with 3" of gravel on it....that's a lot of gravel. will use it to fill in some low ruts in the driveway.

then the roof has to air out and finish drying off, get the last dirt and grime off it, and then prolly next mon/tue have the new roof coating applied.

and that's one reason i'm not getting a vette this year.....need a new roof first.

wish they took barn bucks....

I was going to suggest moving away from the older style ballasted, built-up roof. There are a lot of good options including the spray on that are better than the built-up roofing.
