Clutch Fluid Reservoir Cap
I have what may seem like an odd/stupid question...
When I take my CFR cap off should it look like this... or this... or does it matter? Thanks! |

I would think the cap should be in. Why did you take it off and it was out?

But another site for s10s says it should be pushed in and when the fluid level starts getting low the bladder starts coming down into the res to fill the air gap... Eh who knows ugh lol

If the diaphragm is extended, that means that somewhere in you system is pulling a vacuum. That also means there is an air leak in the system somewhere too.
You should get the clutch system pressure checked and seal the leak. |

Well I think I figured it out LOL... I think the last time it was changed the bladder was manually pulled out by the person who changed it. I changed it several weeks ago and have been checking it and it has not dropped at all. So hopefully that's all it was. I will be monitoring it for awhile to make sure.
