I was at the show Monday & Tuesday & just got home
I talked with many a GM tech guys and many a Michelin Tech guy as well! You DO NOT NEED A WIDE TIRE to make your car work...........the right compound is most important AND honest lap times do not lie ![]() There will be and all season tire offered..........details are being finalized. I have voiced what I thought would work ![]() The torque tube will weight more and was upgraded to offset the DAD addition as it sent some unwanted harmonics to the drivetrain... The side frame rails are 6063-T6 aluminum in case you need to mount a 6 point roll bar with swing outs ![]() You may be able to read the OBII codes from the screen........you can have onstar do that for you now so I hope.........just like the C5s The front license plate holder will restrict airflow.......... I like it more than the C6 ![]() More to come ![]() |

Not having seen the C7 in person, I agree with you. I also like the look of the car, except for the rearend. Don't care for the tail lights or the exhaust. Round lights would look better.

Thanks for the pics. I saw this over at CF a couple days ago and was going to post it here but in OT. I forgot all about this section.
I really miss the look of some meaty tires in the back. ![]() I guess smaller tires help in reducing rolling resistance, weight, but increase a bit of road feel. |

Still be able to upgrade on OEM wheels............say a 265/35ZR18 front and 305/30ZR19 rear...........not much discussion yet on the front plate holder, I did ask GM. Gotta go in the grill area so it will restrict ait flow to some cooling area or ram air!
