1967 Corvette power brake booster question...
My 1967 Corvette power brake booster is leaking air. I understand that GM is no longer making these boosters. Can the booster be rebuilt? If so, what is the approximate cost to rebuild?
If the booster can't be rebuilt or if it's too expensive to do that, where can I find a replacement booster? Thank you. |

$ 235.99 plus shipping and possibly tax. I assumed you wanted the 'show quality' version, and I'm guessing there's no numbers matching for this kind of part. You're welcome. |

If you are POSITIVE the booster is the problem and nothing else in the brake system....I would have it rebuilt if original to the car. It will help keep the value and the car original.
These were highly recommended to do the proper plating, parts, etc... https://www.whitepost.com/#welcome http://boosterdeweyexchange.com/ They are simple to rebuild if you want to do it. https://www.muskegonbrake.com/category-s/161.htm |

These are the best that I cold find. It;s a good car; about 45,000 miles, auto, air, power brakes, power steering, the only thing that isn't original is the paint and leather seats. Even the carpet is original, |

The previous owner said he looked, but that the tank sticker was not in place. I have the Protect-O-Plate, the VIN located under the glove box, and the NCRS statement of when the car was built and the dealer it was shipped to.
It has the original engine and transmission, one repaint several years ago, and newer seat covers, but the carpet is original, and it has never had a body-off-the-frame restoration. It has about 47,000 miles on it, which I believe is correct. It has an automatic transmission, air conditioning, power brakes, AM-FM radio, factory side pipes, and heater. It is a trouble-free car with no rattles. |
