NBA Coach: ‘White People Especially’ Need To Be Made ‘Uncomfortable’

San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich claimed on ESPN2’s “The Paul Finebaum Show” Monday that “people have to be made to feel uncomfortable,” specifically singling out white people.

“Well, because it’s uncomfortable, and there has to be an uncomfortable element in the discourse for anything to change. Whether it’s the LGBT movement, women’s suffrage, race, it doesn’t matter. People have to be made to feel uncomfortable, and especially white people because we’re comfortable. We still have no clue of what being born white means,” he stated.

“If you read some of the recent literature, you’ll realize there really is no such thing as whiteness, but we kind of made that up. That’s not my original thought, but it’s true,” Popovich said.

He added, “Because you were born white, you have advantages that are systemically, culturally, psychologically there. And they have been built up and cemented for hundreds of years. But many people can’t look at it. It’s too difficult.”

“It can’t be something that is on their plate on a daily basis. People want to hold their position, people want the status quo, people don’t want to give that up. And until it’s given up, it’s not going to be fixed,” the coach stated.

Pretty sure there are tens and tens of millions of incredibly uncomfortable white people in the USA who have it a hell of a lot worse than professional sports athletes and coaches, SJW university attendees, etc.

Jobless and poverty stricken thanks to the flood of cheap labor into the USA and flood of blue collar jobs out of the USA thanks to the immigration and trade policies of the establishment.

Oh yea, "Pop". He's a USAF Academy grad. He's also a millionaire NBA Head Coach with, I think, five championship rings. No one gets to where he is without being very talented. And here he is offering his opinion. A psychological opinion while being trained in putting a round ball into a basket ball goal. Could he be right? Possibly. I spent almost 35 years in international sales. I've done legal business with communists, muslims, white supremacists, leftist radicals and many other groups I am diametrically opposed top politically. Whenever I was pushed to express an opinion I figured a way to remain neutral or would just state that I'm here to do business not politics.

Popovich is going to need to find a why to become white so he can blend in and feel as uncomfortable as his peers are going to make him from now on.

But, I am glad some one finally is admitting the truth behind the message. Now that it is out there they are going to find the majority of America is not uncomfortable just bemused.
