Yellow means proceed with caution. Not stop. Tesla driver, like all of them, was an asshole. And assumed the T could stop on a dime. Or else didn't even know he was behind him. (more likely)

I got cut off by a woman on her phone who blew a stop when I was driving my '15 T, and had to run it up on the sidewalk. My T had only a transmission brake and no service brakes on the wheels. Safe 100 years ago on dirt roads with no traffic, but not today. People today thing every car has antilock brakes, swerve control, and navigation. And can stop on a dime. Morons.

The FSD Tesla was 100% wrong for slamming on the brakes and stopping at a yellow light.

"What do you think of Justin?" I think he's a fucking asshole snowflake. He uses FSD and then hauls ass to show the other driver what an asshole he is. "Eat my dust!" Wow...now that's original!

This is key. Obviously, sudden aggressive braking causing traffic behind to lock up the binders and take evasive action is NOT 'stopping safely'. Had the Tesla driver continued through the yellow there would have been zero issues.

I agree with both of these.

I actually wrecked in a situation like this when I was around 19 years old. I was driving my '71 Fiat Spider and ran into the back of someone who panic stopped when a light turned yellow. Probably worse than the Tesla did in this case. I was immature in a lot of ways then, but I was at least mature enough to know it was my fault and not get pissed at the lady I hit.
