We're in that time...
between Christmas and New Year's when you don't know what day it is, who you are, or what you're supposed to be doing....

I wuz too, but wife decided she needed dividers for the kitchen junk drawer so the shit would stay less messy....so out with the table saw, and I wacked my wood, and then glued it, and shot it with slick finish that is drying now.....meantime the counter top is piled about 3-4 inches thick with kitchen crap, only thing I ever use is the ~6" table knives, with nice heavy metal handles, she uses the ~4" knives with small plastic handles....

NFI!!! I sprayed the clear, and it's dry to the touch, but when I put it in the kitchen, she walked in and immediately said "Watts that smell!!!!'.....I said I don't smell anything.....she takes it out back to dry, too bad a cloudy day and cool temps.....so it going to be untilllllll hell freezes over...she got a sensitive sniffer.....
I dunno how in hell she manages the bath room duty for her 88 y/o mother.....Nuff said...... BUT it not over, about 3-4 daze ago, I was driving the vette up the road about a mile to the store, maybe 1/2 mile from the house the alternator went to 18Volts thing that alerted me is the blower motor went making all sorts of noise, and the airflow was really greatly increased....I looked at the voltmeter and it was pegged at 18 volts.... AND within 10 seconds or so it went back to normal, just enough for me to notice, then back to 18 volts......for an instant, and by time I got to a turn around point, it settled back to normal for the day....drove to store and back home.... massaged the wires and tapped around, nothing.....next day, drove it again, same shit....18 volts for a few seconds, then normal, then 18 volts then normal for rest of the trip.... I had replaced the alt way earlier this year under Auto Zone warranty .....so yet again under lifetime warr......... Need test the car as new one in there this AM, so along with the drawers dividers for wifey-poo, and the car, WTF ELSE can go RONG?? one of the double 8' ceiling lights in the garage, of course, the bubs are all good.... to the effing transformer is gawn....witch one IS it?? the one above the Vette of course.....so to drive it around for the effing alt. issue, then leave it out while I fix the effing LIGHT!!!! |

The few days I volunteer at the hospital is the only thing that makes me keep track of what day it is. The holiday schedule for the surgery dept and a new volunteer coming on board and one returning from knee replacement surgery has given me three weeks off and it has been difficult to know or care what day it is. Back to work on the 7th it looks like.
