That got to be a LONG RANGE. Plaids don't run 10's unless the guy is in SPORT and not PLAID mode. Slowest I have seen a Plaid run was 9.40's
If it is a PLAID, he must have been in SPORT mode. No way that you run 10's in a Plaid. Zero chance.

When I was a kid and could only afford junkers, I did have 2 or 3 four-door sedans. But they were "old man" cars and me and my buddies avoided owning them if at all possible. Two-door hardtops or verts were the cars to have.

The Plaid is about as ugly and boring-looking a car as you can get. Although it would be a great getaway car for robbing banks -- aside from its speed -- it is so drab and ho-hum looking that eye witnesses would never be able to identify it against every other family sedan out there.

I wonder how it would do in a cross-country race like in "Cannonball Run"? Well you'd have plenty of LONG breaks and plenty of time to eat, shit, and play with boobs -- that's for sure.

The Tesla Plaid would lose to my stock, non-upgraded 57 year-old Pontiac GTO in a Cannonball run. My cruise speed is 90 mph at 3,000 rpm, my mpg is over 20, and my range is 400 miles per tank. Time to refill and be back in action? 5 minutes. Also, my GTO has no carbon footprint, and cost 90 times less money than the Plaid while appreciating 30 to 40 times in value during my ownership.
