I saw The Cramps in 1978-79 at Larry Blake's in Berkeley, CA. Tuxedo Moon opened for them. Both bands rocked the house....it was higher grade punk than much of the other crap out there at the time. RIP

The Cramps were widely regarded by many to be the start of psychobilly. The band broke up with the death of front man Lux Interior in 2009 at the age of 62.
