The black bears don't cause much commotion around here. Easy to avoid as they are generally reclusive up this way, not aggressive and avoid chasing prey or threats for any real distance. .They WILL climb trees if need be however.

Grizzlies on the other hand are massive, strong as hell, unpredictable and have a stamina beyond anything imaginable. They are not climbers generally. They ARE protected in the US so you better have a damn good reason to kill one....like video or claw marks.





I'd rather cross a black bear versus a grizzly, a bull moose or a hungry camo'd mountain lion. Wolverines habitats are known to be in this area. They are bada$$, but they seem to be spotted very infrequently.

We do get wolfpacks killing a lot of elk and livestock. However it has tapered-off somewhat due to bounties. WA state morons protects wolves so some of the ranchers there are royally screwed for the most part.

I know two peeps here from California. Dave is constantly complaining of the weather. Roger ia a lib, but he actually agrees with me that FedCo should be limited, and that lib policies like universal health care should be at the state or local level.
