I admit that I go to a Mickey D's near work every now and then when short on time. They still get stuff wrong on occassion but not as bad as they did with the "highly diverse" crew working there in the past. Still, they are not even close to $10/hr quality workers.

I don't do fast food, so no worries. Checked out a Fosters Freeze last year, and they wanted $7.50 for a burger so I walked out. I can make many burgers at home that taste great for $7.50. They started the wage thing here in CA awhile back and McDonalds simply fired 75% of its employees and put up self-serve kiosks. There will be more of this. Whenever the minimum wage is increased the prices of everything else just goes up to compensate. It solves nothing. And eliminates entry level jobs. Democrats can't seem to understand this.

Every once in a while I get a couple of steak sandwiches for a change of taste rather than any other reason. Cost is ~$20. I can afford that but if I did it every day that'd run me close to $8k/yr.

Any idea how much beef a person can buy for 8K? I spend less than $500 to eat huge hamburgers and steaks nearly every day for a year so at least 16 years worth.
