I swear every day I get more and more disappointed in society in general, how does a person become a monster like this? and why the hell don't we just shot these people.

Woman sentenced after streaming sex abuse of daughter over webcam

(CNN) -- A Maine judge handed down a 15-year prison sentence to a woman convicted of sexually abusing her 2-year-old daughter and streaming the acts over the internet to a teenager in the United Kingdom.

Julie Carr, 33, received a 20-year sentence last week after she was convicted on child pornography charges, according to court documents.

U.S. District Judge John Woodcock imposed the second sentence Tuesday, which will run concurrently with the first.

Carr was convicted of producing child pornography and gross sexual assault and exploitation of a minor.

"When I see child-pornography, I ask myself: Where are the parents? Where are the people who are supposed to be protecting the child?," Woodcock said, according to the court transcript. "Well, Ms. Carr, in your case, we know where the mother was."

The acts took place in June 2009 when Carr used a webcam to deliver four live videos of herself performing oral sex on her youngest daughter, according to the documents.

The videos were sent to Nicholas Wilde, then 19, in West Midlands, England, whom Carr had met on an internet dating site, the documents said.

They exchanged messages for approximately 10 hours over the month in which the crime occurred, accoridng to the documents.

The videos were later discovered by British police after searching Wilde's home in relation to a separate child pornography case.

Police collaborated with American authorities to identify and locate Carr, the documents said.

Wilde was sentenced last year in England to nearly five years in prison for possessing child pornography and inciting the sexual abuse of a child, according to West-Midlands police spokeswoman Hazel Steer.

Wilde, who claimed to suffer from Asperger's syndrome -- a form of autism -- was ordered to sign the sexual offenders register and is banned for life from working with children.

Meanwhile, Carr's four children have been removed from her custody, according to Assistant U.S. AttorneyTodd Lowell.

"I want to say that I am sorry," she told the court. "I never meant to hurt anyone in my family, and I have regretted it ever since."

Once released, Carr will receive a mandatory 10 years of supervision where, along with checks for drugs and alcohol, her computer and internet use will be monitored, the documents said. She will also be registered as a sex offender.

"I have always thought that possession is bad enough, but production is another level of true evil," Woodcock said.

"Unequivocally, yours is the worst case I've ever seen."

It is indeed, Michelle. When we face challenges, we may feel as if we have no special passion from which to draw strength. How can we overcome despair?

Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15). What Christians do have is the knowledge of the gospel. Therein is the Christian’s gift to the world (Romans 1:16).

In this, we have a purpose and strength for living. We have a strength for living that counter-balances all our unforeseen challenges and disappointments if we obey the gospel and live with sincerity and diligence, with heaven as our primary objective.

Remember what Christ said, "In this world ye shall have tribulations, but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33).

That's what gives me hope and gets me through it all.

Adults harming kids, that brings out the worst side of me.

As do I, Tx. My flesh instinctively rages inside me. How could I forgive some monster if they were to do something like that to my kids or Theresa?

But, forgiveness is a commandment, not a request. And I know the consequences of unforgiving are severe. It's like a corrosive agent that will eat you all the way to your core if you let it....

With as much as I love my daughters - I cannot understand (nor will I ever) why parents would beat, psychologically abuse, molest, torment, or any other thing but give their children love and support.

This chick should also have her vag cut out and incinerated and the remaining pocket sewn shut.
