I don't care what the doctors say, I don't consider exceedingly deviant social practices "sick"... I'm just a bit ahead of societies general collective curve.

Besides that, I'm as healthy as a horse, but almost everyone I know either has or has had "the bug".

I've been sick since a few days after Thanksgiving. Virtually every part of my body has been attacked....My blood sugar went THROUGH THE FRIGGIN ROOF, and my vision has been blurred, then clear and now blurred again, and NOW, comes the poop fairy..... My wife has it too, but to a lesser degree, she's only battling the aforementioned poop fairy now.

If this doesn't end soon, I'm considering a trip to the Dreaded VA......I just don't know if I need a Pakistani Witch Doctor yet.

I've had this TWICE in my life and BOTH times were after visiting the EXACT same area.....WTF?

My hubby and I bought caught the upper respiratory plague that's going around here just before Christmas. We missed a lot of our family Christmas gatherings. The hubby is still recovering from double pneumonia.

"Healthy as a horse"? Horses are one of the most disease and injury prone animals there is. They'll drink anything you put in front of them, eat as much as you'll give them, they run back into burning buildings, they get 'cast' (lie down and can't get up), colic and die on a moment's notice, break a leg just playing around, and kick each other to death if one of them goes down (that's perhaps a mercy killing).

The Army keeps me so lit up on pain meeds and other goodies that I don't care if I get sick. Strep Throat always gets to me at the beginning of spring and fall, though.

Just head and chest congestion. Nothing that a couple of hefty doses of DayQuil and NightQuil won't get rid of. Which reminds me, need to get a flu shot. I keep forgetting about it.

Almost everyone I know that got a flu shot ended up getting the flu a couple days later. Coincidence, I don't think so....

Funny... the only time I ever get the flu is when the Army makes me take the flu shot/flu mist. I hadn't gotten it in the past three years, all of which I refused to take it, and then this year after refusing I was escorted tot he damn clininc. Guess what... it was a four day weekend for us and I was laid up in bed sick with the flu. Lotta good that did......

Got the stomach flu 2 weeks before Christmas, then the upper respiratory BS started 3 days prior to Christmas. Was sick all through the Holidays, and am just now starting to feel better.
