My own unscientific hypothesis is that eating boogers builds a person's immune system. Think of what your nose hairs filter and collect.....stuff you are, or could become, allergic to. Booger eating would be like actual vaccinations against airborne allergies.

Then again, I could be wrong.

I worked on sewage treatment plants several years so didn't have to eat boogers, and am immune to just about everything.

I love broccoli. Given the price of produce now under the Brandon regime, maybe I should look at switching to boogers as a cost saving measure?
