Agrred, I use the same logical approach when picking a bottle of red at a steakhouse, and the newer stuff is usually almost always cheaper.

For those not in the know, beer is flat after two weeks of being bottled.

They have a 30 year at my local Total Wine for over $4k. I'm pretty happy with 18 Year Sherry Oak for $400, but will splurge for another 25 year soon.
