Fun Software Fact [work related]
[cliffs: I wrote a software product that's about to explode on the market]
So I'm certified in both Salesforce and Mulesoft, and I also wrote a commercial product that's on sale in the market now. It was originally envisioned as a tool just for Salesforce, but I was asked recently if I could add functionality to the product that streamlined the development of API Specifications in Mulesoft. Challenge accepted..... Following Mulesoft's instructions for creating an API Specification, I built one around the Salesforce Account object (with roughly 60 fields). The entire process took me approximately 1 hour. This includes the DataType specification, as well as example (singluar) and examples (plural) files. I've since built all of this functionality into ArchiMeta Studio (only took about 20 total hours of coding, and that 1 hour job I can do in less than 3 minutes. Enterprise level Salesforce companies can typically have THOUSANDS of objects in 1 Salesforce Org. There is no other product on the market that does what mine does. I think this software product is about to gain some serious traction. We have a meeting this week with one of the largest Mulesoft customers in the world (200+ Mulesoft developers), as well as presenting to a Mulesoft users group next week. Would you spend a nominal amount of money (it's a subscription service) on a product that could give you 20x + time savings per object on your API development, times thousands of objects? Better yet, a Salesfoce app is not static. As the Salesforce teams build out their object model over time, you simply update the project, get all of the fresh metadata, and then update your API Specification just as easily. Perfect Salesforce API life cycle tool. |

i understand from the context that it benefits, in some way, people who sell stuff for a living, but what about the customer or the maker of the stuff? |
