It's a good thing you only have to do it every 3 to five years. You forget how damn miserable of an experience is!

I've been getting them biennially! My first was at 50 and they found a couple polyps. I've been going back every 2 years and will have to continue to do so until I'm polyp free.

The prep is not so bad now though... I used to have to drink that gallon of solution the night before which sucks donkey balls. Now they have a new medicine though! It's just a small single dose which is cranberry flavored. About 6 ounces and it doesn't taste bad at all. $170 per dose though!!! Thank god for Tricare!

My process consisted of a 10 ounce bottle of something, 4 ducolax and 64 ounces of gaterade with some powder in it. I keep hearing about an easier way by my doctors have not.

Had 3, first found polyps, last 2 negative. Doc says one more in 5 years will be last.
Last procedure in March, told doc I may have not been as clear as you want, he said no problem, whatever's left, we'll just vacuum out........

I'm in that 3 year schedule due to polyps present and family history of colon cancer. I'm due in a couple of weeks and asked for something other than the gallon jug of slime. I have orders for a combination of Dulcolax and Mirolax with Gatoraide.

I just emailed my doc and asked about the Clenpiq and got a "no". I'll ask why after the procedure, but I won't remember the answer!

I had the combination of Dulcolax and Mirolax with Gatoraide along with a 10 ounce bottle of something the night before the day of the prep. I did basically all of it and it did not work well.

Anyhow, no polyps but he want to do it again next year!

I woke up with some of the worst sinus drainage and indigestion that I have ever experienced.

Oh well, thanks to all for the well wishes. Oh, wait a minute. Not the first one of asses wished me well
