RIP fella. I think folks at this age have "seen it all" and know we are just passing through another dark period and the pendulum will eventually swing back - I'm just sayin'

I thought the country was done during the Vietnam protests and 60s race riots.

My grandpa was stationed on the Nevada, but ironically was aboard the Arizona when the attack happened. They were moored together. Under the klaxon, he ran back to the Nevada. He also survived. Unfortunately my GP died back in 1986 (or so, I was pretty young). I wonder if these two knew each other? I guess I'll never know.
