At my S-n-L's property Friday, one lone eagle was just watching me while I was watching it.

Probably looking for a field mouse as a snack.

There was a pair Friday afternoon on the sand pile at a local quarry. Usually see one when we fish on the river couple miles away also.

We see them regular up here on the lake. They sort of float in about a 3/8 mile circle looking mostly for fish. When they spot something, their eyes are like a super telescope they go into a dive that would make a WW2 Stuka pilot proud.
