1 Corinthians 14:34 - 34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

for those unfamiliar with the Bible, this says women are NOT to preach in the church, that is a task and duty reserved to men.

pretty sure she isn't going to like that. but i'd rather stick with the Bible and she can examine her own self.

Yeah. She was the "mouthpiece" of God, in her mind. It's funny how quickly she resorted to calling me the spigot of Satan and silencing the opposition. It's too bad, really, because I thought we were on a good track.

i was running errands when her last post came thru, but i can't drive and type at the same time, so i was composing a longer reply for when i got home. and then i saw she tossed you and others.

tell you what, we may disagree, but I won't block you or anyone else. i'm bummed i didn't get to tell her that she and I are commanded to love our neighbor as ourself. that means not being rude, not blocking, not deleting because the discussion is not going the way you planned.

I just finished reading the New Testament in Aug. Two weekends ago I reread Revelations.

Some of the guys at work stated that if you die now your good. Impling you go to heaven. Thus you don't want to be around when the revelation comes around. I had just read Revelation and though to myself that's not what it says. Revelation 20 says the dead will rise, the oceans will give up its dead, ect. the dead will be judged and if their names are not in the book of life they will go to burn in hell for ever.

Who are the innocent? Babies that don't know the difference between wrong and right. Most people know right and wrong. The bible states the dead will be judged by there recorded deeds.

Once upon a time, I was in the country of Oman. Our "Tour Guide" offered to drive us to an actual town an hour or so away. On the way back, he asked if we wanted to see a historical site. Sure, why not, we replied. We get there and it's a Muslim Cemetary. At first I was He said come on and see. So we go to to a viewing area. There was a dude in charge of a room. He asked us to take off our shoes/boots before entering. The room was dark and the only light was through the doorways and tiki lamps. We were at Job's Tomb.

Wendy, I just finished this book:

"AntiChrist Before The Day of The Lord" by Alan Kurschner. fascinating read, he pulls together OT and NT texts that all speak to this and ties it all together to explain where believers fit into the 70th week (7 years of time) of Daniel. exciting and scary.

no one is innocent. but to explain that will require more time than I have presently.
