The car is pretty much perfect and it is apparent that this car has been built to the highest standards and meticulously-maintained. Registered as a 1963 Chevrolet GS, this Grand Sport was initially built for the 2006 Atlanta World of Wheels and built to higher specs and performance standards than the original. It is built on a D&D specially adapted 4" tubular racing chassis that has been modified to accept the suspension components for a C4 Corvette. The powder-coated racing chassis and C4 suspension provide outstanding handling characteristics. The 6-Speed manual transmission is mated to a Chevrolet Super AFR ZZR 5.7, 464hp Crate Engine. The race proven ZZR is built for both reliability and performance. Equipped with a GM12370846 camshaft, AFR 195cc aluminum heads, port matched Edelbrock manifold, Proform 750 Race Series Carburetor, MSD Pro Billet Distributor, MSD 6AL Ignition, Comp Cams #1301-16 rocker arms and a compression ratio of 10.23:1 - This engine is built to move and the sound is second to none! Dyno sheets included. Additional details include Heddman Headers with dual ceramic coated side-pipes, a bulletproof Dana 44 rear-end, Alden Eagle Coil-over shocks, Corvette ZR1 braking system with 13" rotors, PS Engineering GS Replica wheels, Auto Meter gauges, Ididit aluminum tilt-steering column, Vintage-air air-conditioning/heater system, RCI 5-point racing harness seat belts, Bosch power windows, trunk mounted stereo system with remote and ipod integration, rear mounted Optima AGM performance battery, 20 gallon aluminum foam filled racing fuel cell mounted directly above the rear suspension, Professional appraisal from Fraser Dante dated January 2007 valuing the car at 80k for a retail buyer with potential upside of up to 90k considering the build quality and presentation.
