Hello fellers and fellettes. You may remember or have at some time in the past cursed my screen name from over at CF. Well, they decided my services weren't needed there any longer so here I am. Exiled. There's multiple people over there that helped me with the '64s restoration over the course of a mighty long time so if anyone can communicate the situation with them I'd appreciate it.

Concerning the future, I've still got a lot of work to do and have plenty of questions. Hopefully my project and meager experience will be an asset to this site.

There a few guys here that have a lot of experience with C2's.
They are helpful and have the knowledge.
Unfortunately this forum is mostly OT but hopefully with new blood

Alas my days there have come to a close but I've still got much work to do. Right now I'm needing to rivet a portion of the convertible top frame back together. Though I've searched and searched, I can't seem to find a direct reference or part number for the air hammer bit I need to install the rivets. Does anyone over here on the virtuous side have any information?

Nice build thread pics. I used to have a ‘66 vert with a ZZ4 motor. I owned it for about 12 years. I sold it because I just wasn’t driving it much anymore

@SnikPlosskin is experienced in building his C2 a couple of times over. He might be able to give you some tips

The one thing I didn’t do was rebuild the top. I’m of little help here. Anything else, glad to help. Thanks for thinking of me.

Even though you can no longer sign in at the CF you can still search their archives by using search words in goggle followed by corvette forum so you may be able to find your answer that way.

Thanks for the input. Like most things on that car I'll just keep working at it until I get what I want.

I’ve done this several times. You may need to be a little choosy on your search parameters but this does work. If one search doesn’t bring up the hits you’re looking for, change the wording a little and repeat the process until you do get it.

No, I gave it to myself. I got tired of being taken to the woodshed for stupid stuff. I’m not banned and I still post there but not nearly as active as I used to be.

My last infraction was for “proxy-posting” (which I didn’t even know was a thing) when I posted up some help from Frankie the Fink (who has a permanent ban) to a forum member with a problem.

I have a month ban right now. CF told me I could be banned for anything they dont like, even if , on , another forum ,like X. It has really gone down hill
in the last 10 years.

Correct if I'm wrong but someone at CF told you they could ban you from CF is they saw you posting something on "X" they didn't like? So they're actively tracking your IP address to other sites?
