Need to eclipse that 500 mile mark, but considering I can drive it now, and today I put about 25 miles on it when I didn't even think I could drive it this week, and I'm now at 63 miles, I'd say I could do that in a week, 2 weeks max. I was trying not to rush the 500 miles since I can't race until the fall, but now the temptation to not only record a wicked 0-60, but also WOT 8600 rpm redlines is just too damn tempting. Even in today's very short session, this car is worth every fricking penny of the $170k.

I rented that Huracan out in Vegas when I won the $6,200 at the slots. I'd take this car over the Lamborghini 10 times out of 10, and this car runs circles around it, and it's 1/2 the price.

That’s f’n awesome, can’t wait to hear a WOT run in that beast. I’m sure I’ll pick one up down the road, but a bit too rich for my wallet currently. In the meantime I’ll stick with my modded c5z and just live vicariously through yours….

Yup, can confirm I was in touring mode. Sounds angry

Changed the camera audio settings, so here's a better cold start.

Still way louder than video shows, as is definitely more than enough to piss off the neighbors.

Just ordered the newest and badest GoPro Hero 12 Creator Edition. Now that I have such a great sounding car, having an additional camera is a must. It should be here Friday, so I'll get some cool videos starting soon.

Drove in Tour and Sport mode. When we were at the track I fired it up in sport.

Glad you are able to get behind the wheel. But don’t over do it. I want to see you get back on track in fall after round 2.

Data,
CONGRATS AGAIN!!
Will you keep it bone stock??
I have yet to study the aftermarket, I do know Soler offer TB, and lots of exhaust systems out there--hopefully neither voids the warranty.

Did a quick search, found this, 3 C8Zs, listed at $120Kish, appears to be MSRP for each.
https://www.truecar.com/new-cars-for...recommendation

Have also seen postings on CF C8Z section with more than a few dealers selling cars on lot at MSRP.

I still have about two years on ciocca list, I think I wlll request my money back, as in two years there will be a used market, and hopefully new ones under MSRP.

I believe the C8Z will be similar to C7Z market, I bought my '15 Z06 two years used, 1,700 miles, 3LZ with everything for $72K, MSRP was $108K.
It may not get as good as that, but I think it will be much better in two years.

Need some driving impressions from the OP. He's a racer and specifically has a Corvette race car........I'm curious what he thinks about the new beast.

I'm at 200 miles, so 300 more to go. Had a relapse with my hip, so not driving it daily like I was trying to do, but haven't driven it since last Friday. A whole lot more to come. Also bought the latest and greatest GoPro Black Series 12, for some very cool high-res videos.

Can't believe they didn't have the correct materials on hand or a variety in case something came up. Sorry man, hopefully it doesn't effect ypur recovery much.

We got a fuck ton of new ammunition today. Moving forward, no specifics, but doc should have never ever taken my case.
