Registered as a 1963 Chevrolet GS, this Grand Sport was initially built for the 2006 Atlanta World of Wheels and built to higher specs and performance standards than the original. It is built on a D&D specially adapted 4" tubular racing chassis that has been modified to accept the suspension components for a C4 Corvette. The powder-coated racing chassis and C4 suspension provide outstanding handling characteristics.
The 6-Speed manual transmission is mated to a Chevrolet Super AFR ZZR 5.7, 464hp Crate Engine. The race proven ZZR is built for both reliability and performance. Equipped with a GM12370846 camshaft, AFR 195cc aluminum heads, port matched Edelbrock manifold, Proform 750 Race Series Carburetor, MSD Pro Billet Distributor, MSD 6AL Ignition, Comp Cams #1301-16 rocker arms and a compression ratio of 10.23:1 - This engine is built to move and the sound is second to none!
