FWIW, I said the exact same thing... until I drove one.
I don't say this lightly, the GT4 may actually be the most fun car I have ever been in. I don't like the base model AT ALL but IMO they don't look bad in GT4 trim. I still wouldn't pay the price that they want for them, but damn, what a blast to drive. For that same $ I'd most likely buy an older GT3 which ironically enough would be slower if I ever put it on a track.
