Usually stay home or at friends in Conn. and stay over....drink large amounts of alcohol and have good food. First thing eaten after the stroke of midnight is pickled herring and bang pots outside while yelling Happy New Year !
This year wife and I are here alone but I will still follow the herring and pot banging
