I agree that relatives of slave owners shouldn't be held responsible also, point was that would be an appropriate path for them to go after the noney not the country since the country didn't own slaves.
None of my family was in this country until the turn of the century so why should I have to pay for something I had nothing to do with personally or thru family ties.
