I think that 8 speed transmission is a POS. I had mine in at 4000 miles for some torque converter chattering. They’re claiming it was some fluid recall thing and they’re on their third blend. It’s been OK since the fluid change. That was 35,000 ago so maybe.

I took the 'Mero into the dealer because of the transmission. They couldn't find an issue with it.
Loved the car, would buy another one, but not with an automatic.
