As far as interest in the weather, it should go without saying that I hope y'all are going to be OK. As you pointed out, my area has known its share of weather disasters.

And as someone who has experienced their share of extreme weather, it's a general interest topic for me how other areas cope with, and are effected by it.

You haven't offended me. But a big disappointment is going to happen for the Media when this is just a small storm that may drop an inch of water. It never rains here in August so we welcome rain to keep the mountains and hills wet against brush fires.
