Sux for you, OP, but glad you got the care you needed.
In your line of work, you must see some things that
makes one wonder, is it worth it? Of course, there's no excuse
for the way you were treated.

Hospital visits at this time are somewhat gruesome.
I was in isolation for 13 days (covid positive when I entered),
and could not have visitors for the stay. Nurses and Drs had to
don special disposable gowns upon entry, and trashed them before
leaving the room, I thought I was on the moon the way they dressed
covered head to toe. My room door was always kept closed.
Long days, 3 visits each of the 2 shifts for vitals,
and a nurse wanting to inject heperin in my belly every other visit,
made for a very long day.
While I didn't enjoy the stay, I must say I'm pleased with the care
I received. I was in an affilated hospital of one of the largest medical group in Wi., and it is part of the medical college of Wi. Of the 30 plus nurses and CNAs I had, only 2 of them were "people with attitudes"
Sorry for the rant, but I certainly understand your ordeal.
