Sitting here watching the Giants/Padres game. Giants Pitcher Matt Cain announced his retirement a few days ago and they are letting him start one last game. He had been taken out of the rotation and has been working out of the bullpen for most of the season.
And he leaves the mound for the last time with five shutout innings.
