Since the topic is up again in the news.....I have one simple question....
we mine Uranium, distill it down to the level of radiation necessary to create extreme heat to boil water and make sparks.......fine...
now when the 'fuel' becomes weak, it's supposedly still radio active, and of course at increased levels so dangerous....ok fine.....makes disposal/storage a mess to contend with....
BUT, WHY can't it be distilled down to enough radiation to boil more water with??
maybe add more raw material, if necessary.....
