I went the other way. I bought most all the parts for a heads/cam swap then decided that I wanted to go the blower route instead. I had almost everything to complete the swap but realized I was spending as much as I would for a "nice used" blower setup. I say this because the car is an A4 and I'd have to pay for a stall and pay to have it put in, or attempt the install myself without a lift in a small one car garage. If the car was an M6 there would be no doubt the car would have a nice custom cam in it by now....then a blower down the road.
As much as I love the sound of a cammed car, I liked the ability to adjust the boost. With a heads/cam car....you get what you get power wise and that's it.
Personally, I'd hold on to it for awhile. Then if you still feel like you want to go the other direction, sell it then.
