Western NC area was a 45% request just this year(3 years total 45%), our area 30% plus request.
They said all the damage from storms in Mountains and it costs more to upgrade there was the reason for higher request.
They said customers will foot 100% of any and all costs for upgrades.
My rates just went up and so did grid access and a supplemental charge.
It'll be 20 to 25 extra a month at least.
