Personally, I'm glad I never had to get near that place. Ellsworth was bad enough, and I was there for the entire month of May in 2001. Saw everything from 92 degrees to snow within the same week. And the wind.....it literally never stops blowing. Only redeeming factor about there, was the fact that billeting was jam up.
