There is a breathing exercise that can halt/minimize a minor seizure - if caught early enough.
Although coughing is not quite the exact breathing exercise suggested for prevention, it does provide some relief... but is mainly used to mask facial "ticks" when the symptoms of a mild seizure are first detected.

She stopped breathing, her and a lot of our countries problems would be over!
