Default That was more fun than I should be allowed to have

Oil pressure gauge started going wonky on the 04 Suburban with a 5.3L Borrowed the correct socket for the sending unit from Chris at work and started about 2:00 PM

I figured, "how hard can it be", I checked out YouTube University and figured, yeah I can do this.

The sending unit is at the middle of the block in the back basically under the firewall. Well , it seems the videos I watched the guys doing it had smaller hands than I do. Bear paws make this an extremely frustrating job.

After jamming my right hand behind the fuel lines for almost three hours,( while laying across the engine bay ) I got the new sending unit installed but no joy on the little plug that snaps in place.

Tomorrow I go to my mechanic who I bribed with a $20 bill to plug it in. That will be money well spent ( then we'll talk guns for a while )
